All children five years and older who are enrolled in ballet as of Fall 2011 are eligible to perform in Aspen Santa Fe Ballet's annual professional production of The Nutcracker at the Lensic Theatre, December 3 and 4, 2011.

Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet Classes

Creative Dance for ages 3 & 4: Tuition $70 per month

Tuesdays 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Aspen Santa Fe Ballet studio 2
Thursdays 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Eldorado Yoga Center at La Tienda, Bldg. A, 7 Caliente Road, Santa Fe
Saturdays 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Aspen Santa Fe Ballet studio 2
Saturdays 2:00-2:45 p.m. at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center(aerobics room), 3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe

Pre-Ballet for ages 5 & 6: Tuition $70 per month

1 hour class - $70 per month

45 minute class - $50 per month

All of the above classes will be taught by Karen Brettschneider, our director of early childhood training. Karen has a wealth of experience instructing these age levels and has relocated from Chicago to Santa Fe specifically to teach Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet classes for our school. We welcome her and look forward to benefiting from her excellent instruction.

Dress Code for Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet Classes: Girls: mandatory dress code leotard available at our studios for $25.00 (or from the instructor with prepayment), pink leather ballet slippers and pink tights. Hair worn neatly up and off the face and neck. No skirts or tutus. Boys wear plain white snug fitting t-shirt, black tights, black leather ballet slippers.
