Applicants must be classically trained and interested in an eclectic repertoire of contemporary work. Men must be 5’’10” or taller and women must be between 5’ 4” and 5’8”. Women must be prepared to dance en pointe.

Aspen Santa Fe ballet is a company of eleven dancers based in Aspen, Colorado with a second home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our choreographers include Nicolo Fonte, Jorma Elo, Jiri Kylian, Helen Pickett, Cayetano Soto, Edwaard Liang, Paul Taylor, Dwight Rhoden, Twyla Tharp, David Parsons and others. ASFB tours nationally and internationally.

Please note, if you are unable to attend our audition and would like to be considered for a private audition, you may send a resume, headshot, full body dance shot and a short dvd. You will not be able to take company class as an audition without submitting materials prior. Please include some class work on the dvd and do not wear black. If you include performance video please be sure it is high quality and that you include an explanation so that we know which dancer is you. Please include your height and weight on resume. Please do not send your resume by email. We will not return videos or photos. Audition materials may not be reviewed until after the New York and Chicago auditions. If all positions are filled at the open auditions, your materials may not be viewed.
